My name is Scott Pignatelli, and I'm a web developer. Web design and development has been something I've tinkered in since high school. It's no coincidence that it's something I focused on in College. I've been working in the graphic and web design field since I graduated with a Bachelors in Commuincations from the college of Saint Rose in 2006. In late 2011, I decided to go back to school and strengthen my web development and back end programming skills. As of December 2013, I graduated and now have an Associates in Applied Sciences from Hudson Valley Community College in Computer Information Systems, with a focus in web development. I also interned for HVCC's web services department as a programming intern. Not only did I learn a great deal there, but I really enjoyed working on web development, mobile application development, and other programming projects as directed.
In my spare time, I enjoy:
  • Working on cars: I built my first Jeep that I bought when I was 19 from a reliatveily stock, average 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport to something that could easily conquer some of the toughest trails in the Northeast. I recently sold that Jeep, and I'm currently planning out the build for the 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon I bought to replace it.
  • Writing music and playing guitar: I was in a band, we recorded an album, and played all over the eastern seaboard, as far as Charlotte, NC and Indianapolis, IN.
  • Snowboarding: I've been riding since 2000. I love to get out and ride
  • Hockey: I'm a die hard San Jose Sharks fan and hockey fan in general. I love playing hockey with friends too, though I haven't actually played professionsally or in any organized leagues.

Web Design and Development

The main examples of web design that I've done, from User-Interface design to simple programming and functions, is this website. I've built and rebuilt it several times, each time getting more functional and user friendly. I can confidently say that each time it has gotten better as well.

A Collaboration with a long time friend for a college media class. This one is old, but it's still funny. Shot and directed by myself, Produced and edited by John Lee. He did all his own stunts, too.
